Attitude-Croisse-of-Richard-Polich
by Sterett-Gittings Kelsey

Description:

The title of this magnificent work, describes the classical ballet position so beautifully executed, by this little dancer. Cast by the Polich Tallix Foundry in New York, this sculpture is engineered for safety and public use. The 10' x 10' steel base rises 9 inches above the ground because of the recessed I beams which support the platform. This type of display is known as a floating base because the entire sculptures appears visually to float. The two Canadian whiskey kegs are a deliberate part of this work and are there to partner the figure. They too are cast in registered foundry bronze. The edition is Six. Five have been sold.
