About me

Thomas Boos (*12.04.67, Project Leader mechanical Engeneering)

I have always fascinated manually and worked with these materials formally of stone and wood for a long time years.

In 2012 I then have discovered the art of sculptor's works hitting Below Expectations for myself and work as a freelance sculptor in the second profession since the end of 2015.

My sculptures come into being in an almost 100 sqm studio in the beautiful Zabergäu, called also Swabian Tuscany. I had worked with international artists and further refine my style in Carrara in "real" Tuscany inspired by the white marble mountains in the studio Leonardo Corsanini.

I regularly use the exchange of experiences with other artists also in Germany in the context of common workshops of the artist and restorer Rainer Pape in Friedenthal Germany.

I make sculptures predominant to the lives topics, quiet, time but also with reference purchase to momentous occasions or places. I use different stone types like p.E. for it. marble, Belgian granite, sandstone, German Jura or also alabaster. These are partly completed by metal or wood.

In 2017 I was nominated for the Palm Art Award.
