| South Dakota sculptor John Lopez dedicated his latest Presidential bronze for the City of Presidents project in Rapid City South Dakota. John's life-size bronze of President Jimmy Carter was unveiled along with sculptures of Gerald Ford, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The other three sculptors on the project are Jim Maher, Lee Leunning and Ed Halvka all from South Dakota.
There will be four presidents unveiled a year for ten years until all of the U.S. presidents are completed. So far Lopez has sculpted John Adams, Jimmy Carter and John Q. Adams. |
