| On October 23, 2008,Manatee-County based sculptor Ed Miracle lent his newest work, "Battered Woman Syndrome" to the Spring of Tampa Bay, Inc. (a domestic violence shelter) for the 18th annual Mabel H. Bexley Gift of Peace Breakfast at the Ala Carte Pavilion Dana Shores. The guest speaker at the event was Denise Brown (sister of Nicole Brown Simpson.( attached photo ) Battered Woman Syndrome sculpture displayed in the main lobby of the Ala Carte Pavilion (pictured from left to right) Robert E.
